On March 26, BloodGPT co-founder and CPO Nata Savaścienka joined a panel discussion at LSX World Congress Europe in Lisbon. The session, "Reimbursement Strategies: Planning for Commercial Success from Day One," brought together founders and investors to discuss how health-tech companies can build commercial models that work across European markets.

The panel included Marcus Bergler (MEDKAP Investor Association), Sebastian Anastassiou (Nina Capital), and Priit Salumaa (Better Medicine). The conversation covered a range of topics: when reimbursement is the right path for a medtech company and when it isn't, how regulatory approval differs from reimbursement, and how Europe's fragmented payer systems shape commercial strategy.

Nata shared BloodGPT's experience building a B2B pricing model across five countries. Rather than pursuing traditional reimbursement through HTA assessments and insurance codes, BloodGPT sells directly to laboratories and health platforms on a per-biomarker basis. This approach allowed the company to go live in Israel, Nigeria, the UK, Greece, and Poland without waiting for country-specific reimbursement approvals.

LSX World Congress Europe is one of the largest life science investment conferences on the continent, bringing together around 1,500 executives from biotech, medtech, and healthtech. This year it was co-located with BIO-Europe Spring as part of Lisbon's Spring Innovation Week.
